PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This is a six bedroom luxury property located in the Green Belt surrounding Radlett. The interior design was carried out by Living In Space and comprises family living spaces, six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a cloakroom and a subterranean suite accommodating a pool with shower room, gym, sauna and cinema. The energy centre uses a ground source heat pump, PV and rainwater harvesting to help achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5.

SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
The newly built Brickfields will meet one of the highest sustainability ratings available for dwellings, with built-in features that reduce energy consumption, enable the collection of rainwater and improve the local biodiversity. The dwelling will achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5, meeting the government’s definition of a Zero Carbon home. This is made possible through the generation of 100% of the home’s energy demand (for heating, hot water and lighting and running services) from on-site renewable energy sources. A ground source heat pump will provide hot water for the home whilst solar panels will generate electricity. All aspects of the home’s design and construction have been taken into account in order to make this building sustainable.
