ISA IS AN ARCHITECTURE OFFICE ENGAGED IN DESIGN AND RESEARCH PROJECTS IN CITIES ACROSS THE U.S.A. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH PROJECT STAKEHOLDERS TO PRODUCE BUILDINGS, MASTER PLANS, INSTALLATIONS, AND CONVERSATIONS THAT PROVIDE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR OUR CLIENTS WHILE PRODUCTIVELY ADDRESSING CHANGING CLIMATES, LIFESTYLES, TECHNOLOGIES, AND URBAN ENVIRONMENTS. Design problems are multifaceted – and we think that's a good thing. We see the many constraints on design imposed by a project's surroundings and stakeholders as productive drivers of innovation. INNOVATING THE EVERYDAY Big ideas and real-world constraints live side-by-side in our building and research projects. We are interested in working within the spaces and architectural programs of daily life, carefully examining projects large and small to find value in unexpected places. STRATEGY OVER STYLE We develop approaches that are flexible and strategic rather than static and prescriptive. We balance constraints on site, program, and construction with client requirements, budget, regulatory controls, market-drivers, and community input to develop fresh designs for the future city.
