REBuild is back.
The event, dedicated to sustainable retrofit and management of existing building stock, will focus its 4th edition on deep renovation, urban regeneration and digital technologies: drivers that can radically change the economic climate and employment perspectives of the real estate sector.
In very few years, Rebuild has become an industry-recognised and privileged observatory on the building market trends. Organized by Habitech - Technological District Trentino and Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, the 4th edition of the convention will be held on 25 and 26 June in Riva del Garda (TN), Italy. Following on the success of the previous editions, also this year Rebuild will offer an exclusive programme of conferences and talks, in-depth scientific content and case studies, innovative solutions and best practices from Italy and around the world.
The European Commission's Energy Roadmap 2050 ambitious goal to shift to low-carbon economy by 2050 while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80%, can be achieved, according to experts, only through a decisive change of gear in the process of rehabilitation of existing buildings.
"To achieve a substantial decarbonisation of the EU in the coming years it will be necessary to gradually move from the energy upgrading of individual dwellings to the energy retrofit of entire buildings. In practice, thanks to innovative financial solutions and the restructuring of the construction supply chain, a ten-fold increase in energy saving can be achieved during the next 10-15 years." said Gianni Silvestrini, president of the Green Building Council Italy and scientific director of the Kyoto Club.
Leading professionals and practitioners from the building design, construction and real estate sectors will shape the debate at the REBuild around the above topics.
