The German Passive House Institute has recently launched the Component Award Innovation 2017.
The competition is aimed at identifying high-quality and affordable building components, concepts and ideas that can make Passivhaus or EnerPHit projects simpler and more affordable.
Participation is free and open to all professionals and building product manufacturers.
Entries have to be accompanied by supporting evidence such as measurements, simulations and/or laboratory-based tests.
Deadline for the submission: 10 of January 2017.
The exemplar proposals will be evaluated by a jury of internationally-recognised Passivhaus Standards experts.
Winners will have the opportunity to present their innovative components during the Award ceremony which will take place in Vienna in April 2017, at 21st international Passive House Conference.
