Role
For an initial 10 month period and the potential for extension until June 2019, this important project position will join our successful Environmental & Sustainability Team in the Midlands Region, which comprises specialists in EIA, environmental management, ecology, archaeology & cultural heritage, landscape & urban design, land contamination, waste, air quality, environmental and social due diligence, and sustainability. The team provides advice within the UK and Europe on environmental planning, consenting and compliance, for projects in a wide range of sectors including in the water sector.  This position is to support a framework commission for a Client, developing the design and consenting of new and refurbished water network.
An Environmental Co-ordinator with 8 years’ relevant experience is required to deliver and co-ordinate environmental appraisals, assessments and studies as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.  The role will work with the Client as well as other environmental and technical specialists, providing a point of contact and understanding of the full suite of environmental issues that are relevant within an environmental constraints and EIA framework of water projects.
