Architect / Architectural Assistant, Sydney Office

 
Full time role offered to work with a dynamic team to continue, develop and strengthen the architecture division of an award winning practice. The candidate must demonstrate capability and experience in current project challenges of design and management.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
Manage and lead the execution of projects to meet client requirements and achieve client satisfaction.
Assist senior management to establish Project Plan and execute on time and budget.
Engage with all levels with consultants and handles general day-to-day communication.
Manage project staff when acting as project leader.
Keep Associate Directors/Directors informed of all progress/issues with projects under their direction.
Follow Quality Management policy and ensures that communications and information is properly sorted and filed within the company's system.
As part of the entire team, carry out business development, networking and maintaining pipeline.
Lead and assist on proposals and tender submissions.
 
Skills and experience:
 
Bachelor degree in Architecture.
Minimum 12 years experience in design excellence on large and complex projects.
Preferably with experience in built work.
International experience and local experience.
Strong management and design skills and strong work ethic.
Proficient in computer skills in 3D, drawing, graphics and presentation.
Able to clearly communicate intent to all internal and external parties.
Able to manage a group of stakeholders.
