Responsibilities:
  • Utility Account Management – manage client utility accounts and develop utility data analytics by working with facilities, finance, accounting, legal, etc.
  • Reporting – generate site and portfolio reports from data management systems regarding energy consumption and projected consumption based on conservation opportunities.
  • Energy Analysis – review and compute a facility’s end use analysis; calculate projected energy savings; analyze properties within the portfolio for trends and anomalies in energy consumption.
  • Sustainability Analysis – analyze trash, recycling and water trends to calculate costs and savings.
  • Process Improvement – investigate and recommend process improvement solutions that will make the utilities management process more robust, error-free and streamlined.
  • Resolve utility account issues by working with utility companies and bill processing firms
  • Maintain completeness and accuracy of utility data, property data, etc. in databases to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting. 
  • Teamwork – actively communicate progress and issues to the portfolio program manager, the facilities management team and the client. Participate on Energy Team process improvement projects and respond to client or JLL request
Job Description:
Reporting to the Portfolio Energy Manager, this role supports one or multiple clients in a region. Generally responsible for clients’ utility cost management and analyzing and reporting the portfolio’s energy consumption and costs.
 
 
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in math, finance, engineering, IT or similar analytical discipline.
  • 1+ year(s) of related work experience or internships with knowledge of energy efficiency, sustainability concepts and LEED frameworks, preferred.
  • Proficient in using MS Excel, Access and SQL to combine and analyze data from various sources, and generate reports and graphics.
  • Must be able to combine large volumes of data for consolidated reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and follow-through.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work across multiple departments and units within an organization.
