JOB Opportunity - BREEAM assessor at Faithful+Gould

Faithful+Gould is looking to recruit knowledgeable consultant with proven experience in carrying out BREEAM assessments on a range of building types, and Code for Sustainability Homes.  You will also provide advice and guidance in other areas of low carbon consultancy with a focus on low carbon technologies and their implementation to a wide range of clients and sectors.  Based in London Euston tower, Faithful+Gould’s main clients are within London and Southeast region but as the firm is a consultancy you may be required to travel to clients offices/ sites throughout the UK.

Duties & Responsibilities  
 
 The role will typically include:
Managing BREEAM/ Code for Sustainable Homes assessments from feasibility stage through to project completion
Providing advice to clients/ design teams on the most cost-effective and beneficial route to compliance
Develop and maintain standard specification and template documents to facilitate assessments
Identifying potential carbon emissions savings from technical and strategic standpoint
Providing general technical and commercial support to a range of public and private sector clients
Identifying potential clients, discussing needs and preparing bid documents
Interact with other members of the business and external clients at all levels
Managing resources, deliverables and budgets on projects. 
 
Desired Skills and Experience
 
Qualified BREEAM assessor (preferably BREEAM AP). Code for Sustainable Homes desirable.
Experience of working with design teams on a range of commercial and public sector projects
Preferable:  MSc in an Energy, Environmental or related field
A keen interest in energy markets and related environmental legislation
Good understanding of building services and common industrial processes
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external clients
Confident with an ability to assimilate within a team and maintain/develop the business
Competent in Microsoft Office and Windows applications
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary
High level of energy with lots of drive and enthusiasm
Depending on the projects you may be required to attain an appropriate level of UK security clearance
