Job Responsibilities
 
  • To provide design, research and graphical support to integrated environmental and sustainable design of masterplans and projects
  • Advice and support design team in the integration of the environmental concepts, energy efficient/low carbon solutions and system design, and assessment of building performance
  • To present analysis, environmental design strategies further discussion including through sketches, analysis, presentation of data and diagrams
  • Analysis and research of solar, daylighting, energy/thermal and airflow aspects of masterplanning and the internal built environment 
  • Support design teams in the use of environmental simulation tools, devise methodologies for analysis and visualization of specific environmental design problems
  • Assist in the maintenance and documentation of illustration standards such as working methods animation libraries and archiving of final digital images
  • To assist engineers and analyst with general research related tasks
  • Contribute, or otherwise assist, as required
  • Thorough knowledge of and compliance with F+P procedures and standards
 
Desirable Skills
 
  • Understanding of bioclimatic, low-energy and passive design of buildings
  • Understand of building services and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in Computer Aided Design, preferably Microstation
  • Understanding of, or interest in learning, various Environmental Assessment procedures (BREEAM, LEED, etc.).
