Duties & Responsibilities  
1. Engage in sustainable building design, including HVAC and Lighting systems design, Facade optimization building passive design optimization , equipment and material evaluation, etc;
2. Conduct the building sustainability analysis, including computational fluid dynamic analysis, natural lighting and ventilation analysis, water resource analysis, building energy analysis, renewable energy system analysis, etc;
3. Identify energy saving strategies for buildings, including evaluating system performance and cost & benefit assessment;
4. Manage and coordinate the green building certification works;
5. Prepare the documentation for LEED (or other schemes) green building certification;
6. Prepare reports and presentation documents;
7. Prepare service proposal and project bidding documents;
8. Communicate with Architect, Engineer and Client on both technical and commercial issues
 
Requirements
- 3 years or above experience in engineering design
- Bachelor or above degree in Building Physics, HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Building Science Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Sustainability;
- Have a broad base of sustainable design knowledge and technology application
- Advanced knowledge of building systems design and thermal study on commercial building, public building, institutional building, industrial building, etc.
- Have a good awareness of sustainability and environmental/social issues
- Good communication skills essential for team-based working; Must be highly motivated, proactive
- Good English speaking and writing skills
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision,and work under pressure
- eQuest, EnergyPlus, DeST,DOE-2,TRYNSYS,TRACE,VisualDOE,IES-VE,EnergyPro,EE4,HAP,TAS,Rhino,Fluent,Star-CD,ECOTECT
Experiences in energy, thermal or CFD computer simulation software - at least three of followings: eQuest, EnergyPlus, DeST, DOE-2, TRYNSYS, TRACE, VisualDOE, IES-VE, EnergyPro, EE4, HAP, TAS, Rhino, Fluent, Star-CD, ECOTECT or any other modelling software to simulate;
- Proficiency in MS office applications software, include:outlook, word,Excel and Power Point.
- Good communications skills such as report writing and public presentations
