The UK’s leading independent design festival is about to take its wraps off. The award-winning design showcase, which attracts the international design community, will take place in May 24-26.
Clerkenwell, which used to be a part of London's industrial heartland, is well-known to designers and architects. The former warehouses are now home to design agencies and magazines, the factories have become exclusive bars and restaurants, and the slum housing has been turned into exclusive flats for professional twenty-somethings.
In a few days’ time, thousands of architects, designers and general public will flock to this small area of London to attend, and celebrate, a number of exclusive showroom events, exhibitions, talk and special installations.
