Brooker Flynn's John Lewis Store shortlisted for Your BREEAM Awards 2015

BREEAM Awards recognise the achievement of professionals involved in the specification, design and construction of BREEAM assessed buildings. The awards are made annually to the highest scoring building assessments certified under BREEAM Schemes in the preceding calendar year. 
 
As part of the 2015 BREEAM Awards, you have the chance to vote for the building that you believe most deserves recognition. For this special Your BREEAM Award, Building4change has put together a shortlist, comprising the top scoring buildings in each award category for the 2015 BREEAM Awards. Now it’s up to you. 
 
JOHN LEWIS, YORK  is among the shortlisted projects.
The two-storey, 128,000 sq ft building is the only department store in the world to receive a BREEAM Outstanding rating.The building includes sun pipes fitted in the back of the shop to take advantage of natural light and air displacement ventilation to reduce energy usage and improves air quality.
