Goring & Straja studio was established in 1997, with offices in Milan, Rome and San Francisco. Company activity ranges from architecture to interior design, providing integrated solutions to national and international clients. It is worth noting that GaS has a proven ability to design and build logistics, multiplex theatres, office buildings, student housing, hotels, residential and a variety of retail typologies spanning from the renovation of shopping centres to individual stores. Managed in Italy by Andrè Straja, Giacomo Sicuro and Lenka Lodo, through the year the group has developed an impressive client list. The GaS Studio roots are firmly planted in Italy with over 21 years of experience, nevertheless, it was founded by two American architects (Jim Goring and Andre Straja), long time AIA members who’s experience is at the base of the company's approach. The offices in California and Italy are constantly collaborating on projects either in USA or for international clients and therefore tools and methods are by definition universal, multilingual and International. The recently completed projects stand out for the awards and publications obtained in Italy and abroad as well as for top certifications in terms of sustainability and energy saving.
